Society today bombards us with images and ideas of what a “real man” should look like. From the type of job he “should have", to the kind of car he "should drive", to the kind of sports he “should be” skilled at, and countless other things. Keeping up with this list can be exhausting!
Biblical manhood, on the other hand, is intended to liberate man into the very purpose with which God created man. The aim of the Men's Ministry is to build up men of God by looking at biblical wisdom rather than going with the latest fad.
As we explore our theme for the season “Biblical Manhood”, we look to Scripture to understand the equality between man and woman (both made in God’s image), and to appreciate the differences in function. We discuss what this means for our roles and responsibilities as sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers. With a clear biblical understanding of these roles, we can build a firm foundation and ensure strong communication and relationships within our families.
Many men have been blessed by the fellowship and community that’s offered in this ministry, and appreciate the safe setting to share testimonies and be vulnerable.
